Cabling patten is beginning to take shape! Soon the hard part starts. (Taken with Instagram)
it’s coming along beautifully! Doncha just love cables?
This is the WIP photograph of the back of an Alice Starmore cardigan. The red arrows show where I managed to mis-cross 4 (four!) cables. The right-most column is what it’s supposed to look like. I only noticed this mistake once I’d cast off the entire back. So. much. rage.
Don’t give up hope! This reminded me of a post from 6 years ago by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, the Yarn Harlot, about how to fix this exact problem without unraveling all your knitting! See here: http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/archives/2006/06/20/all_is_not_lost.html
Good luck! Happy Knitting! xx Justine
